Where is Good Shepherd Headed?...

 I have been pastor at Good Shepherd for the past 16 years.  During these
     years the mission God has placed upon us is to—connecting people to Jesus
     with truth, with grace, passionately.  And God has richly blessed our attempts
     to do just that.  This has led us to take some risks.  The biggest one is to meet
     our Spanish speaking neighbors by adding Pastor Aaron and DCE Kayla to
     work with Spanish language ministry.  The result is that now we have Sunday
     Spanish language services and weekly Bible study each week along with Food
     Bank and Clothing Bank.  We also have bi-weekly Eritrean services on Saturdays
     at 3pm led by Dawitt Abrea

 For 2009 our mission is helping us focus on making disciples of Jesus Christ. 
     To do this we began August 2009 to develop our Sunday services and Bible
     classes to focus on one theme and to offer toolkits to our church family which
     reinforce this theme during the following week.  We hope you use these toolkits
     and join us each week as God strengthens us in our walk with him.  If you know
     someone who needs to meet Jesus, tell us and we will be glad to work with you
     to show them God’s continuing love.

 Jesus is our guide and He tells us that making disciples is like growing crops in
     a field.  Through this mysterious process we become Children of God and grow
     in his grace and love.  We’d be honored if you joined us for the ride!
